Resource Efficient Scotland Pledge
One of EPP’s six company values is to operate a healthy, sustainable, profitable business. We have set ourselves our own standard to achieve this in an ethical and environmentally friendly way, ensuring commercial stability and longevity for EPP and our customers.
To help us achieve this standard we have made a commitment to reducing our environmental impact by signing up for the Resource Efficient Scotland Pledge. We have set ourselves targets to:
- Reduce energy usage by 5%
- Increase recycling rates by 5%
- Engage staff on energy efficiency
- Engage staff on recycling
which we aim to achieve Spring 2016 to be awarded our Bronze Certificate.
More about the Resource Efficient Scotland Pledge
The Pledge is a free initiative which recognises and supports businesses in Scotland that are committed to sustainable year-on-year growth. By selecting and completing a minimum of 3 actions within 12 months, a business will achieve a Bronze Certificate and will then be eligible to move onto the next levels, Silver, Gold and Platinum by repeating the above process with new actions.
