A successful second SETAC for EPP in Rome

Following on from 2017’s event in Brussels, EPP attended and exhibited at SETAC once more. The society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) is a not-for profit, global professional society established in 1979 to provide a forum for individuals and institutions engaged in education, research and development, ecological risk assessment and life-cycle assessment, chemical manufacture and distribution, management and regulation of natural resources, and the study, analysis, and solution of environmental problems.

The combination of academic talks as well as having a booth presenting our company to the industry was very valuable. The daily lectures, run over a 5 day period, gave an insight into the latest research and developments within the environmental sciences sphere.  Attending were Christopher Doig, Environmental Sciences Manager, Andrea Milne, Study Director and Sarah Farr, Business Development Manager. All three members of EPP found the event to be very well organised and relevant. SETAC gave the opportunity to discuss current and prospective clients’ projects, leading to new contracts signed. We very much appreciate all the hard-work and effort put in by the organisers and look forward to attending next year.
