The Year of Innovation – Pharma Services in Scotland
Scotland is a progressive and imaginative place; over the years leading lights of Scottish science and thinking have changed the world, indeed, a recent video produced by VisitScotland celebrating the Year of Innovation illustrates the point nicely… where would the world be without Scots?
What is very exciting is that this innovative spark is alive and well. Here at EPP we continue to play our part; investing in new talent and services to make sure we continue to offer the very best to our clients from across the world. We are also playing our part in leading and supporting the thinking and development behind the broader sector. We already work to support the Strategies for Growth and Development in the Life and Chemical Sciences and our Managing Director, James Stuart, has just been asked to join the Pharma Services Steering Group (PSSG).
The PSSG supports a large element of the overall Life Sciences Strategy with a particular focus on the 160 plus business in Scotland who directly support the development of pharmaceuticals. The group is made up of a mixture of individuals who between them have experience from across the pharmaceutical development cycle. Our services support activities in the pre-clinical phase in particular.
James is delighted to have become involved:
I’m very happy to get a chance to be involved in the Pharma Services Steering Group. Scotland has a wealth of talent and capability and I’m very much looking forward to exploring how we can shine a light on it.
